Added a "temporary user" so you can post comments until we sort permanent solution (the old login was linked to the forum, we'll add a forum again shortly, just focusing on getting 2006 world cup added before we do anything else).

So, we've decided to give this page another go, and hopefully get some life back into it in time for next years world cup. We've deleted the (very) old forum, so you wont be able to log in for a while, which also means it wont be possible to post comments.

We'll start with getting the info from Germany2006 added to the database, and will sort forums and stuff afterwards.

If you have any ideas we can add to the page, or anything else at all feel free to drop us an email at wchcrew@worldcup-history.com

World Cups starts!! and page back up + new forum

As you might have noticed the page has been down for some time, this is because of the insane bandwith usage in the last months. Hopefully we should be able to keep it online during the world cup.

A new forum has also been added, and all the old threads have been copied over. You can find it here

New forum

Enjoy the world cup everyone!!

Popup Issue

Several people have complained because of spyware and trojans in the popup on this page. However, we believe the forum was the cause of these warnings, and have taken steps to stop this. This includes taking the forum offline. A new forum will be installed asap, and we will try and import all of the old threads. However, our forum software was freeware when we started this site, but now costs money. This forces us to change forum software, which in turn causes a problem with importing threads and users.

On another note, this website has now used 17GB over its bandwidth quota for this month and there is still another week left of March. If anyone have suggestions on how we can finance this site or have any questions, send us an e-mail

If we don't find a working solution this page will most likely go offline.

We would like to apologise for the recent downtime, and would at the same time like to thank everyone who mailed us about the problem. The downtime was due to some disk space issues, but these are now hopefully out of this world.
